Board Meeting - Feb. 11, 2007

A campmeeting board meeting will be held on Sunday Feb. 11 at 2:30 p.m. at Bethlehem United Methodist Church (Hwy 1389, just down the road from the campground). Please bring with you ideas for this year's special 110th anniversary! Some ideas proposed so far are an Ice-cream social with a historical dress-up night, last Sunday homecoming reunion with historical reminiscences.

We would also like to play the video that was created a few years ago (by The Gospel Envoys). If you have a copy of this video, please let Roger or Tonya know. Be prepared to vote / discuss these ideas.Other items that are still on the agenda that will need to be discussed:

*vent for tabernacle ceiling
*youth night: new bands, food arrangements
*ushers for this anniversary year
*commemorative seat cushions

Anniversary Ahead!

Next year Yelvington Annual Campmeeting will celebrate its 110th anniversary! We are planning to have special events next July and August during the 2007 campmeeting to recognize the milestone. Be sure to check here for more announcements as campmeeting '07 gets closer.If any friends of the campmeeting have suggestions for how to celebrate this special year, please let Roger B., Tonya N., or any other board member know your ideas.

We did lose some of our old posts that were here, but the address is the same and the photos and information from those old posts is still in the campmeeting scrapbook! There will be plenty of new pictures and information to come as we prepare for Campmeeting 2007!
