Reminder: Two clean-up/work days are scheduled for 7 a.m. on Sat. July 24 and Sat. July 31. Everyone who wants to help is welcome. Please bring some cleaning supplies or yard-work tools with you.
The Y.A.C. giveaway puppets are ready for Youth Celebration Night. (Begins at 5:30 p.m. on Thur. Aug. 5). Kids, youth, youth groups, and their chaperones are invited to join us for free food, fun, worship, and music (featuring local youth bluegrass/gospel band Chasin' Chickens!) The regular worship service begins at 7 p.m. that evening.
If you haven't already, mark your calendars! Campmeeting is nightly, at 7 p.m. from Sun. August 1 to Sun. August 8! Our evangelist is Rev. Steve James (from Gethsemene Baptist Church in Danville, KY). Our nightly special music is by quartet Perfect Vision.
Other special events include a "motorcycle run for Christ" special night for riders to bring their motorcycles to the campmeeting - on Tue. Aug. 3. On Sun. Aug. 8 there will be a morning worship service at 11 a.m., followed by a potluck dinner-on-the-grounds. Perfect Vision will give an afternoon concert at 1:30 and the final service of the campmeeting for 2010 will be at 7 p.m. that night.
